  The Rydges Melbourne on Exhibition street is a nice hotel. I slept very well here and the room is nice. It's not new, but it's well furnished and the Queen bed room I'm in is well sized and well furnished. The most important thing for me in my work is having decent internet access in the room. The only gripe I have with the room is the shower design. It's a glass plate with another glass plate that only opens inwards, not outwards. The sink blocks it. It would be okay if I could open the glass door plate outwards, but it only opens inwards, so that water splashes around. It's minor, but it does make getting into the shower interesting. However that is the only issue I have with the room and hotel. The rest of the stay and facilities have been really good.
