At Jones Winery & Vineyard, siblings Arthur and Mandy Jones let the grapes do the talking. The vineyards are allowed to develop a strong regional character of the soil and climate in which they are grown. The result is elegant, distinctive table wines and new-styled fortifieds.
Established in 1860, Jones Winery & Vineyard was acquired by the Jones family in 1927. This boutique winery has a multitude of things going for it, including international expertise, 111-year old dry land vineyard, a charming heritage-listed cellar door and a delightful French-themed cafe.
Jones Winery & Vineyard wines include the highly acclaimed L.J, made from old vine shiraz and grenache, as well as fiano, marsanne, ros?, malbec, shiraz and durif, plus fortifieds such as their unique 'Apero' and 'Classic Muscat'.
The caf? serves food themed on those wonderful simple dishes found in french caf?s. Using seasonal local produce, lunch options may include confit duck, croque monsieur and cr?me caramel - all of which can be perfectly paired with a glass of Jones wine.
